This is the color that completes my EVH EBMM collection – opaque gold. Now I have an example or two (or more) of every color from the production run. Reportedly, Ernie Ball only made 26 of these and while I’ve seen one or two for sale over the last 10 years, their condition hasn’t been what I was looking for in such a rare guitar. This one was a display piece and remains in near mint condition. My buddy Jim was instrumental in helping me acquire this guitar (thanks Jim!) and when it came available privately, it made sense to grab it.
