With two Goldtops and one Black, I have one complete EBMM EVH collection and remain a Black away from completing a second set. Reportedly, Ernie Ball only made 26 of these goldtops and while I’ve seen one or two for sale over the last 10 years, their condition hasn’t been what I was looking for in such a rare guitar. This one was a display piece and remains in mint condition. My buddy Jim was instrumental in helping me acquire this guitar (thanks Jim!) and when it came available privately, it made sense to grab it.
