Tosin Abasi's Ibanez LACS 8 String

When I bought this guitar, I’d never heard of Tosin Abasi. I was actually looking for a nice 8 string because I thought I needed an 8 string and after buying a USA Jackson 8 string that sucked, I thought this would be a good switch. It wasn’t for sale for long – I made a reasonable offer and Tosin or his guy accepted and the guitar was in route.

I can’t remember who I told, or maybe I posted it, but this is one of the most asked about guitars in my collection. From memory, it has Tosin’s prototype Cyclops pickups and I guess this was the prototype to Tosin’s signature Ibanez guitar. I’ve since seen Animas as Leaders live and it’s different. It’s not my thing but I can appreciate the talent. Cool guitar, but I’ve never plugged it in. It remains exactly as Tosin sent it.
