1999 Jackson Shannon Short Wing Prototype

Mint (10 out of 10) condition with no playwear. 1 of 7 built personally by Mike Shannon (R. Rhoads guitar builder) exactly to Randy’s specs. The “holy grail” of Jackson guitars.

What?  Yeah, most have never seen one of these.  You’d have to have been on the JCF – Jackson/Charvel Forum – back around 2002 or so.  Legend has it that an old school, pre-internet Jackson collector named Rob Lane convinced Mike Shannon to make 7 exact replicas of Randy’s guitar using Randy’s template, which he did.  Back then, the only Concorde available was the 1992 release, which took a lot of liberties with Randy’s model.  This one is exact, and made by the guy that made Randy’s.  Five remain in the wild.  I’d argue these should be among the most expensive, most desirable Jacksons in existence, but what do I know.
